2000 Battle
Display Event Report - June 2000 The inaugural event in Farnham in June 2000 was a spectacular success and by general consent brought new life into the Farnham Carnival procession through the streets of the Historic Georgian town centre. The many continental visitors agreed that Farnham Park was one of the most beautiful settings they had ever seen for an encampment and battle in the UK and the standards of hospitality easily exceeded any UK event they had attended. The landlords of the many pubs in the town appreciated very much the warmth and atmosphere, colour and music the many visitors brought with them. The first day's spectacular action was rounded off in a traditional manner with a wild Irish Ceilidh in the camp on Saturday night. Uniformed Troops who attended:
